On January 13th, a press conference was held at ERGO ARENA to inaugurate a new, long-awaited running event – the Sopot Half Marathon, which will take place on October 25th, 2026. The media briefing was attended by: Magdalena Czarzyńska-Jachim, Mayor of Sopot; Grażyna Dobrzyńska, Director of MOSiR Sopot; Krzysztof Lemke, President of the Management Board of AronPharma; and Adam Greczyło, CEO of Energy Events, the company that organizes the event.

Hey runners, don't miss the start of registration for the Sopot Half Marathon, which opens on February 10th. The race will take place on October 25th, 2026. We know it's still a long way off, but... the lowest entry fee is only available now. You can register for the race and take advantage of the lowest entry fee of PLN 119 only until February 17th.

We also have good news for those who have decided to run the Energa Gdańsk Marathon on April 19, 2026, and are already on the starting list. We've prepared a special discount for these marathon runners on registration for the Sopot Half Marathon – they can take advantage of the promotional 99 PLN discount when registering until February 14th. To take advantage of this discount, you must have already paid for the marathon. Then, simply log in to the Energa Gdańsk Marathon registration panel, click "Expand your package with additional services and gadgets," and select the half marathon.
