I. General information
When will the Sopot Half Marathon 2026 take place?
Sopot Half Marathon 2026 will take place on October 25, 2026 in Sopot.
Where is the start and finish line of the Sopot Half Marathon?
The start and finish line of the race are located at the ERGO Arena in Sopot, at Plac Dwie Miast 1.
What time does the race start?
The Sopot Half Marathon starts at 9:00 AM.
II. Registration and participant limits
How to register for the Sopot Half Marathon?
Registration takes place online via the application form available on the website sopot-hm.gryka.easyisp.pl.
Until when can I sign up?
Registration is open until October 13, 2026, or until all places are filled, whichever comes first.
What is the player limit?
The limit of participants in the Sopot Half Marathon is 3,500 people.
Can I register on the day of the competition?
Yes, registration is possible at the Event Office, however the number of people is limited and they will be assigned to the last starting zone of the Sopot Half Marathon.
III. Conditions of participation
Who can take part in the Sopot Half Marathon?
The race is open to anyone who is at least 18 years old on the day of the race. The organizer allows people with disabilities to participate, provided they use only active wheelchairs with direct drive (Active Wheelchairs) and provide proof of their disability.
Are medical examinations required?
No, the participant starts at his/her own risk and submits an appropriate declaration during registration.
Can I run with a dog on a leash or with a stroller?
No, pets and strollers are not allowed on the race route for the safety of the half marathon runners.
IV. Starter package
What does the Sopot Half Marathon starter package include?
The starting package includes, among other things, a bib number with a timing chip, a commemorative medal (only for runners who finish), access to refreshments along the route, supervision by licensed judges, a hot meal at the finish line, and access to showers.
Where to pick up the starter pack?
Starter packages can only be picked up at the Event Office at ERGO Arena. Office opening hours are specified in the schedule available on the website. sopot-hm.gryka.easyisp.pl.
Can someone else pick up my package?
Yes, you can collect your package on someone else's behalf, but only if you have written authorization and a copy of your ID. The authorization can be found in the race regulations at sopot-hm.gryka.easyisp.pl as Appendix 1.
Can I sell or transfer my starter pack?
Until October 6, 2026, you can resell or transfer your starter pack to anyone – you must report this fact to the organizer at the following address: info@sopotpolmaraton.com to make any necessary changes to the start list information. Changes made before October 6th are free of charge.
V. Entry fee
How much does it cost to participate in the Sopot Half Marathon 2026?
The entry fee ranges from PLN 119 to PLN 229 (depending on the payment date). On the day of the competition, at the Event Office, the fee is PLN 269.
Is the entry fee refundable?
You can only receive a refund of your entry fee if you purchase the waiver option. If you do not purchase the waiver option, the entry fee is non-refundable.
Can I transfer the entry fee to another person?
Yes, the entry fee transfer for the Sopot Half Marathon is possible until October 6, 2026 after reporting this fact directly to the Organizer at info@sopotpolmaraton.com.
VI. Route and Time Limits
What is the distance of the Sopot Half Marathon?
The race distance is 21.0975 km and the route is PZLA certified.
Is there a time limit?
Yes, the maximum time to complete the race is 3 hours. There are also time limits for checkpoints (every 5 km, starting from the 5th km) and these are counted from the starter's last shot.:

- 20 km – 02:50:00'’

What happens if I don't meet the limit?
The competitor must leave the course and will be marked in the results as DNF (Did Not Finish).
VII. Timing and Results
How is running time measured?
The time is measured electronically using a chip in the starting number, which each runner receives in their starting pack.
What time is taken into account in the classification?
The official race time is the net time, except for the first three OPEN women and men competitors, for whom the gross time is taken into account.
Where can I check the results of the Sopot Half Marathon 2026?
On the day of the competition, you can check the results at sopot-hm.gryka.easyisp.pl, while the final results will be published no later than November 6, 2026 on the event website.
VIII. Deposit and facilities
Will there be a deposit and changing facilities available?
Yes, changing rooms, showers and a deposit will be located on the ERGO Arena premises.
How does the deposit work during the run?
Items for deposit must be placed in bags marked with the starting number, and can only be collected after presenting the starting number.
IX. Classifications and Awards
What classifications apply to the Sopot Half Marathon?
There are classifications: OPEN for women and men, age, people with disabilities, and active wheelchair users.
Will each participant receive a medal?
Yes, each runner who finishes the race will receive a commemorative Sopot Half Marathon 2026 medal.
